  2. COVID-19 COVID-19, a pandemic that has created havoc in our lives. It has caused stress to not only those who have been infected with the virus but also to people who have neither been infected nor have interacted with anyone carrying the virus.

  3. A simple explanation is that a mentally stable mind has been interfered with. All around the world, anywhere you look, it exists. How then have they been affected so deeply? You switch on your TV and find COVID, you switch over to social media applications and it’s there, even in the neighbourhood you know of someone who has been fighting or maybe has lost the battle against COVID-19. Apart from other things, mental well-being is something that has been both impacted and neglected the most.

  5. Focus on physical exercise: Physical exercise helps us release endorphins, feel-good hormones. 01 Balance your day out with a routine that must have a significant amount dedicated to ‘ME’ time. 02

  6. 03 Practice gratitude: Trying times make us realize how grateful we should be and haven’t been to people around. 04 We need to distance ourselves physically, not socially or emotionally. Connect with friends and family over a video call, if not communicate through calls but communicate. 05 Take up a relaxation practice, like deep breathing or meditation, before you sleep and after you wake up. A night of good sleep is a must during such trying times.
