- Relies on donations and contributions to take care of these dogs and cats
- They have found homes for over 20,000 pets since opening October 31, 1989

- Offers a Foster Home Program to provide the dogs and cats with a stable environment in order to evaluate their personality, habits, needs and behaviors so they may later be ready for adoption.

Many people feel that pennies are worthless. Some people also feel that way about their pets and abandoned them.
