  1. Kitchen Lighting – Some Great Ideas for a Wonderful Kitchen Lighting Layout The kitchen is typically among the most frequented rooms in a typical home. It is where people converge to eat, socialise, prepare food, and cook. In some cases, a kitchen may have areas that are conducive for doing other tasks, like homework or reading a book. This is why it makes sense to invest in proper kitchen lighting that suits the layout of the room. Here are some great ideas that can help you incorporate the right type of lighting for your kitchen layout: •Use the right bulbs– Instead of buying the usual CFL or incandescent lights, consider upgrading your kitchen lighting with LED bulbs. That way, you can enjoy the benefits such as durability, energy savings, reduced maintenance costs, and great value for your money in the long run. Consider getting LED kitchen lighting from a reputable and established supplier that carries a wide array of LED bulbs for every application. •Accent lighting –Use LED tapes on floating shelves to create accent lighting. The lights are slim and non-obtrusive so they should not affect the overall look and design of the shelves. They are ideal for interior cabinet lighting, too, especially if you have glass cabinets displaying your china, wine, and other valuable dinnerware or glassware collection. •Recessed ceiling lights – Make LED bulbs a primary source of illumination in your kitchen. If you have used incandescent or halogen lights and you want to upgrade to LED, consider getting remodelling kits, which can help you replace the older fixtures more affordably and easily with LED bulbs. Recessed LED ceiling lighting can provide a sophisticated look to your kitchen, too. •Light up glass tables and counter tops with LED lights – Create a dramatic accent lighting effect on translucent surfaces with toe kicks or LED tapes. They can be reliable for illumination at night, and they can be used under stone counter tops, too. •Highlight the kitchen’s architectural features – Does your kitchen have a cove moulding or tray ceiling architecture? Use LED kitchen lighting to draw attention to them. •Task lighting under cabinets –Under-cabinet illumination is another application for kitchen LED bulbs. They are cooler and will not get hot as you work.
