3. Intimacy over popularity • The majority of couples are looking for small, intimate ceremonies. You may already be thinking that this can be tricky to execute, considering that all the beaches in Seychelles are public. • However, the key is to avoid the popular beaches as much as possible.

4. For example, rather than hosting a wedding at Beau Vallon beach, which is a very popular beach for both tourists and local alike, we will host the wedding at Mare Anglaise which is just a couple of minutes away, and less frequented.

5. We will also avoid beaches that are located inside the resorts of Hotels, as again, these beaches are popular with tourists who are staying at the hotel.

Drive time to and from the accommodation • Another important factor is how far you will be driving to and from the wedding location. • With all the bents, curves, ups and downs that the Seychelles roads have we need to ensure that the driving time is always minimal in order to avoid travel sickness.
