Aspire Fertility Clinic, HSR Layout • The main doctor at the Aspire Fertility Clinic is Dr. Ashwini G.B. and when Dr.Ashwini is not present, Dr.Narmatha will take over for consultations.  They also have a team of doctors who will coordinate for the IVF procedure. The staff said that the average cost of IVF treatment will be between Rs.2,00,000 to Rs. 2,50,000 and that they have a good success rate. Dr. Ashwini seems to be approachable and one can take an appointment and meet the doctor on the same day itself. The staff I spoke with was professional and courteous. The clinic has all necessary facilities for fertility treatments including embryo freezing facilities. Overall, I would rate it as an average experience.

6. Wellspring Mother & Child Hospital, Bellary Road • The staff at the Wellspring Fertility Hospital, they were courteous but weren’t able to provide me with many details. There are two doctors for fertility consultation, Dr.AashaLatha and Dr.Barathi but since there was no website, I could not find any references to the doctors. • She was not able to tell me the average cost of an IVF cycle. When asked about the success rate, she said that many women have attained success, but was not able to provide me with a number. As far as the facilities are concerned,  they have all the necessary facilities for in-patients and have embryo freezing facility which will cost approximately Rs. 30,000 separately. • Overall, it was not much of a convincing experience

Dr. VidyamaniLingegowda, Lalbagh Nursing Home and Infertility Centre, Jaya Nagar • Lalbagh Infertility Centre is one of the popular IVF clinics in Bangalore mainly because of Dr. Vidyamani who started it 27 years ago especially to provide IVF treatment for women. Now it has all the facilities needed for IVF and their specialty is Blastocyst transfer which means that the embryo is developed in the laboratory for five or six days after insemination, while in the usual IVF, the embryos are transferred to the womb two to three days after insemination. They have testing facilities for PGD and PGS. • The average cost of one cycle of IVF here is Rs. 2,00,000 and one can get an appointment the same day to directly see Dr. Vidyamani. Overall, it was a satisfying conversation.
