  1. BSDA Account About BSDA Account Benefits of a BSDA Demat Account

  2. About BSDA Account • A BSDA account is designed to give stock market access to investors with portfolios worth no more than Rs 2 lakhs. One significant distinction between a standard Demat account and this one is that you can only open one account with all DPS, as opposed to many traditional Demat accounts with different Depository Participants if you have a BSDA account. This kind of basic Demat account was created as a result of SEBI realising that many people open Demat accounts just to leave them vacant and unused. These people would nevertheless continue to pay the various maintenance and other Demat account-related costs.

  3. Benefits of a BSDA Demat Account • A Basic Service Demat Account comes with a lot of significant advantages for people. Most of them concern fees associated with typical Demat accounts that can be avoided by opening a simple Demat account. • Traditional Demat accounts have a variety of fees, including Annual Maintenance Charges (AMC), fees for hardcopy statements, and penalties for things like DIS or DRF rejection. The annual maintenance fees, which are assessed based on the various holding value slabs, are one of the major savings a basic service Demat account offers. This has a major benefit because people who want to start out with a small investment amount risk having their short-term gains cancelled out by the numerous maintenance fees and other costs associated with maintaining a typical Demat account.
