  2. Non-governmental organizations (NGOs) are involved in carrying out a wide range of activities linked to society and underprivileged people. They work independently and don’t take any financial aid from the government. Although they work in close alliance with the government body for executing their activities & projects. The NGOs take up the projects to promote the welfare of the community to address different concerns and problems prevailing in society. They don’t run the NGO for profit or any commercial purpose. There are many NGO Working for Environment The founders of NGOs run their organizations on donations made by corporates, individuals and institutions 

  3. After independence, NGOs have played an important role in helping and supporting the needy. They are addressing the aid of the distressed & elevating the socio-economic status in the country.  How Do NGOs Function? The best NGOs in Indiaact as a mediator between government and citizens. When a few concerns do not reach the government or are not resolved then the functions of NGOs play a significant role in bringing those issues to light.  Their major aim is to make the Earth a better place for human beings who get neglected by society and suffer a lot. They focus on concerns related to human rights, social environment, advocacy and bring them on a broader scale.
