They need more understanding and less judgement Child welfare revolves around providing services and facilities to children that make them secure and help raise their quality of life by providing a provision of: -food -shelter -better parenting -awareness about their rights And more. It aims to provide a good education and elevate their financial conditions. They work for the overall development of a child, including mental, emotional and physical wellness. It aims to provide them with the right vocational guidance as well. Child welfare is also concerned with building a good output of the leisure time that children have. So, in short, anything that works for the wellness of a child and improves his present condition is referred to as child welfare. With the increase in social and cultural disturbances and situations of lockdown like in pandemics, they need for a better child development plan has become a necessity. For the same, we have the concept of a child welfare committee. Child Protection

2. The term child protection refers to safeguarding the rights of children. It is about securing them from a place of violence, exploitation, abuse, and neglect. The concept revolves around loving, providing a sense of security by creating a framework for the care and protection of children. Let us have a look at the rights allotted to children. According to Article 19 of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child...It ensures the following: -person under the age of 18 is a child -every child should be treated equally without considering the religion, age, gender and nationality they have. -good family guidance -are able to share their emotions -their perspectives should be respected -privacy protection -free from thought and religious bias -refugee children should be supported in every way -inclusion of disabled children -access toquality education -receive the benefits of all these rights Child protection systems Child protection systems are those systems that are usually run by the government and aim to protect children and young people by promoting a good family atmosphere for them and encouraging the idea of a stable life. United Nations Sustainable Development Goals Both the sustainable development goals-that is Goal 3, Good Health and Well-being and Goal 4, Quality Education, assist in making child welfare stronger. Goal 3 ensures that children are protected and taken care of, whereas Goal 4 works to provide a good quality education so that children can lead their life in a better and more meaningful way. Let us not stop making efforts for children as-. "The potential possibilities of any child are the most intriguing and stimulating in all creation." Child welfare committee The government has framed many plans and taken several steps to uplift and empower children of all ages. For the same, a child welfare committee is set up in various districts. The committee is aided by Chairperson and four other members. Any child who requires a certain degree of care and protection can be presented before the committee. Then, needful steps are taken in order to enhance their lives. Care and protection of children is the primary goal of a child welfare committee. How Does the Child Welfare System Work? The main functions of a child welfare system can be stated as below: ● Receive and investigate reports of all cases of possible child abuse and neglect. ● Provide services to families who need aid in the protection and care of their children. ● Arranging a permanent house or independent residing services for children leaving foster care. Child Upbringing Numerous researches and studies have proved that raising the child's rights plays an integral part in his future life. Here are a few tips for raising child rights and providing a degree of welfare. 1. Raise confidence Child raising should be equal to confidence raising in situations where a child does good-appreciate him. In situations where the performance is not doing good-still appreciate it. Highlighting their positives can turn the negatives into positives and help the child be an independent and confident human being. 2. Make time for them We are all caught up on a train that is hurried off to another station every time. But in this run, taking out time for children is a must. Do not let a child feel alone and neglected, and this is a crucial part of upbringing any child. 3. Appreciate them When a child does something good, no matter how small the thing is-appreciate them. This makes them feel good about themselves. They develop the confidence to try and explore new gates of life. 4. Communicate enough The factor that strengthens any relationship is communication. Communicating your child's needs, views, interests, and deeply personal feelings should be an everyday routine. 5. Be flexible Do not limit your parenting style. As your child grows up and changes come in his/her life, you should also mould yourself in a similar way. 6. Show them your unconditional love It is not always about loving your child.
