  8. Immune System:Psoriasis is an autoimmune skin condition. In psoriasis, white blood cells also known as T cells falsely strike on the skin cells. In a normal body, white blood cells are set up to outbreak and fight against infections. The overdraw skin cell production causes new skin cells to develop fastly. They are forced to the skin’s surface which leads to pile up.

  9. Genetics: Many of us have genetic reasons for psoriasis in our body. There may be chances if any immediate family member have any skin problem, it can pass onto you or you are in high risk to develop this disorder. Approximately2-3% of people with the gene develop the condition, according to the National Psoriasis Foundation (NPF).

Trigger may differ from one individual to other. But common triggers are: • Cold Temperatures • Drinking excess alcohol • Smoking • Having autoimmune disorder, such as HIV or rheumatoid arthritis • Infections leads to weakened immune system • Skin injury for e.g. cut, bug bite, or sunburn • Excessive stress and tension • Certain medications, including lithium and antimalarial drugs
