Naturism and Riding the Crimson Wave Nude: Diva Cup Review and A Giveaway! The Diva Cup Reviewed By Felicity: Diva Cup - This place is for women, notably those that like to go unclothed! Men, if period-conversation makes you uneasy, then keep reading ;) Well I came across a little menstruation (Yeah it's like 6th grade health class all over again) merchandise awhile back called the Diva Cup. I was definitely intrigued to try it, so when I saw it on the shelf in my own local health food store, I snatched it up! The Diva Cup is a silicone-established menstrual cup that's inserted into the vagina just like a tampon. Yet, instead of consuming everything, it's all collected in the cup. It is possible to wear it for up to 12 hours at a time (compared to altering a tampon every few hours), and it doesn't leak! (Given it is correctly inserted, and it might take some exercise.) Diva Cup and its carrying case Would you fear the "crimson wave" crashing your nakation? I understand many girls do, particularly those new to nudism. Well I was excited to review this on my site because this really is fantastic for nudist girls! It is so discrete, http://terimwiki.com/index.php?title=Unclothed-Bowling-Bash-and-Packers-Game-f have to worry about an awkward, visible tampon string. Ladies, this really is a better way to love going totally unclothed during your period and be more relaxed and comfortable doing so. It took me a couple of days to get used to it, but the cup is actually very user-friendly. I remember hearing about this sort of merchandise quite a long time ago, believing it seemed sloppy and a little gross, but it's not. Plus it is so much more convenient than tampons. (Ever been to Sandy Hook unclothed beach and had to excursion back and forth to the toilet a mile away?) In addition, it might take a little bit of training, but it really will not leak when it is properly inserted. The other advantages of using the Diva Cup instead of tampons and pads are that it is eco-friendly and saves a lot of cash. The Diva Cup folks did some computations, estimating the typical woman will use 10,000 tampons and sanitary napkins in her life. That's lots of resulting waste and cash. They also quote some research: "More than 170,000 tampon applicators were gathered along U.S. coastal areas between 1998 and 1999." There is so much plastic and garbage that washes up on beaches, and I'd prefer never to add my dropped tampon applicators to it. Ick! If properly cared for, the Diva Cup will last for 1 year and costs around $30 to $40, making it more cost-effective than tampons/pads bought in per year. (I found mine for $33.) The drawbacks? For one, I was troubled by the long list of soaps which you shouldn't use to clean it, aka every kind of soap I 'd at home. But truly any mild, unscented soap should be fine, or you are able to get the Diva Wash, specially made because of it. Another dilemma is if you end up trying to take it out and wash it in private in a public bathroom. Nobody desires to take that up to the sink. The alternative is easy though: empty it into the toilet, clean it away with some tissue, and good to go until you get home. For further questions or concerns I recommend heading over to the Diva Cup FAQ page.
