  2. What is digital markeing ? • marketing is often compared to “traditional marketing” such as magazine ads, billboards, and direct mail. Oddly, television is usually lumped in with traditional marketing. • Did you know nine-in-tDigitalenU.S. adults go online on a daily basis? Not only that, 41% are online

  3. A digital marketing strategy allows you to leverage different digital channels–such as social media, pay-per-click, search engine optimization, and email marketing–to connect with existing customers and individuals interested in your products or services. As a result, you can build a brand, provide a great customer experience, bring in potential customers, and more. • According to a study conducted by Forrester Consulting on behalf of Mailchimp, "88% of marketers believe their marketing organization must increase its use of automation and AI to meet customer expectations and stay competitive." Digital marketing provides an excellent opportunity for marketing automation.

  4. TYPES OF SEO ? White hat SEO is the opposite of Black Hat SEO. Generally, white hat SEO refers to any practice that improves your search rankings on a search engine results page (SERP) while maintaining the integrity of your website and staying within the search engines' terms of service.

  5. BLACK HAT SEO • This technique involves hiding keywords on a page where users can't see them but search engine crawlers can. For example, this might look like inserting white text on a white-background page.

  6. GREY HAT SEO ? • Gray hat SEO is the combination of SEO methods that go along with Google Webmaster Guidelines (white hat SEO) and those that violate them (black hat methods). For example, creating quality content (white hat) and buying backlinks to it (black hat).

  7. WHAT IS SEO ? • Search engine optimization (SEO) is the practice of orienting your website to rank higher on a search engine results page (SERP) so that you receive more traffic. The aim is typically to rank on the first page of Google results for search terms that mean the most to your target audience.

  8. TYPE OF WEB TRAFFIC ? • Traffic shows how many people visit your site and reveals how well your marketing is working. By looking at different types of traffic—like organic, paid, referral, direct, and social—you learn where your visitors come from and how they interact with your content.

  9. Organic traffic • Organic traffic is those visitors that land on your website from unpaid sources, aka essentially free traffic. Organic sources here include search engines like Google, Yahoo, or Bing. The brand of digital marketing that focuses on improving organic traffic is called Search Engine Optimization.

  10. Paid traffic • Paid traffic is traffic that is generated through paid means only. Paid website traffic from search engines is directed to a website when a user clicks on an ad placed on a search engine results page for a particular search query.

  11. REFFERAL TRAFIC • Referral traffic describes the people who come to your domain from other sites, without searching for you on Google. When someone visits a link from a social network or website and they end up on another site, tracking systems from Google recognize the visitor as a referral.

  12. DIRECT TRAFFIC • Direct traffic is the amount of web traffic you receive from users who visit your website through a URL directly from their browsers. In terms of Google Analytics (GA), it is defined as the traffic that has arrived on your website with no source or data.

  13. SOCIAL TRAFFIC • Social traffic refers to traffic coming to your website, mobile site or mobile app from social networks and social media platforms. For example, a person who clicks on a tweet or a Facebook post and then arrives on your brand's website will be counted in your digital analytics reports as social traffic.
