  2. INTR0DUCTION Good morning, I am Bukari Safiatu, a student midwife from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. I am presenting a medical case of 57-year-old female patient, Mrs. Mary Akuto, admitted to the female medical ward on the 3rd of August, 2025 at Obuasi Government Hospital.

BIG TEXT MEDIUM TEXT Vital signs on admission Temperature : 39 degrees Pulse: 110 bpm BP: 135/85 mmHgRespiration: 28 bpm Oxygen saturation: 90% The patient chest auscultation revealed crackles in the right lower lung. MEDIUM TEXT The patient reports severe reproductive cough with greenish sputum, pleuritic chest pain, and fatigue. She rates her shortness of breath as 7/10 .

  6. BIG TEXT Continue intravenous antibiotics as prescribed. Maintain oxygen therapy and monitor saturation levels. Encourage deep breathing exercises and chest physiotherapy. Monitor vital signs and watch for respiratory distress. Educate patient on medication adherence and follow-up care. Review by medical team in 24 hours. BIG TEXT
