  2. Instructions: Preheat your smoker to 225°F. Rub the prime rib with olive oil and season generously with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Place the roast in the smoker and insert a meat thermometer. Smoke for 3-4 hours or until the internal temperature reaches 130°F for medium-rare.
