  1. Online English Tutoring Suggestions When I was in high school, I never wanted to read any of the books that I was assigned. I do not suggest that laziness, but sometimes the realities of a busy schedule mean that you fall behind on the chapters in the book that you are reading and you need to speed through the chapter without actually reading it. There are so many people that have turned to resources like SparkNotes to get all of the important information about a chapter before going into an English class with a pop quiz that you just know will happen on the one day you did not do the reading. Online study guides like that are a great way to bone up before a test, even if you should really be doing the work on your own. The best online English tutoring is the kind that gives you the boost you need to stay on track because there are not really things to learn to get ahead in class. You mostly have to stay on the pace of the teacher, so knowing where to turn when things get rough is really important. Here are some resources that you can look to for help with English online.

  2. SparkNotes As mentioned, this is probably the top site when it comes to getting help with English class. The chapter summaries of almost every book that you are going to face in high school is really nice. There are occasions where your teacher goes off script and picks an obscure book that leaves you out of luck, but you are mostly going to find the books you need for free on SparkNotes. You can get everything from character analyses to symbol analyses to really any kind of analysis that you might want to do. One of the features that I wish that I used more of was No Fear Shakespeare. Chances are that you will go through a few of Shakespeare’s plays and you are going to have a much easier time if you use the versions that translate the complex “ye olde” English into something that you can understand. This is a great help when you are trying to understand what is supposed to be the same language as ours, but somehow always seems like insane gibberish to me. MLA or APA Format Helpers English class will no doubt force you to write more essays than any other class. With that, you likely need to do some research papers and that means using sources in your writing. Knowing the proper way to format in the body of the paper is one thing, but the references page at the end of the paper needs to be done in a specific way to respect the rules that your teacher requires. The good thing is that there are a bunch of sites online that will do all of the work for you. For books, you just need to find the book and it fills in the details. On websites, you might need to do some editing because it has trouble pulling all the details, but they usually guide you on what is missing. Source : https://www.patreon.com/posts/31490772
