  2. The Koala Bear is a mammal. Its body covering is fur. The Koala Bears colors can be brown, black, white, or gray. Koala Bear

  3. The Koala Bear will climb trees to eat gum leaves. Gum leaves do not contain gum. It is just the type of tree they name it after. What does the Koala Bear eat?

  4. The Koala Bears home is in the Australian woods except for the ones in other countries zoos. In the wild it can get very hot so most of them are getting killed by wild fires. The Koala’s Bears Home or Environment

  5. The Koala Bear doesn’t really have to protect itself because it lives most of his/her life in the trees. Protection

  6. A baby koala is called a Joey. When the Joey is born, it is only about 2 cm long, blind, furless, and its ears have not quite developed. It goes into its mothers pouch. Before it can eat leaves, it must eat “Pap”, which the mother provides. When it is to big for its mothers pouch, it leaves and is on its way. The Koala Bear Babies

Eucalyptus leaves contain enough moisture to supply most of the koalas water needs. • Koalas have slow metabolisms. They sleep for most of the day. 3.
