Robert Bader

Vice President, OSI

Before joining OSI Restaurant Partners, LLC, as Vice President of Market Strategy and Consumer Intelligence, Robert Bader held strategic and marketing roles at several other firms, including The Coca-Cola Company and Johnson & Johnson. At The Coca-Cola Company, he worked with Burger King, one of the Foodservice Division’s largest accounts. In this position, Robert Bader spearheaded the creation of a model for the optimization of Burger King’s drive-throughs. In his current role, Robert Bader has focused on improving the performance of Carrabba’s Italian Grill and Outback Steakhouse. Mr. Bader has overseen a brand research plan for both restaurant chains, investigating promotional effectiveness, menu design, new product development, operations, competition, and other aspects of the companies. His efforts contributed to the restaurants’ recent turnarounds; both have both begun to regain market share after previous declines in sales. Robert Bader laid the foundation for his career with Coca-Cola, OSI Restaurant Partners, and other leading corporations with Bachelor’s degrees in Economics and Business from the University of Delaware. He also received a Master of Business Administration from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business, at which he earned the Roger H. Sherman Academic Scholarship. Robert Bader’s hobbies include swimming, biking, running, strength training, and boxing. He has completed several triathlons and road races. A lifelong musician who played trumpet at Carnegie Hall during the Stuyvesant High School graduation ceremonies, he recently rediscovered the instrument. He has also revived his childhood interest in stage magic, and enjoys applying his knowledge of behavioral analysis to baseball.
