  1. How positive affirmations can change your life How positive affirmations can change your life January 20, 2022 It's no secret that positive thinking can change your life. But did you know that affirmations - simple, positive statements about yourself and your future - can also have a huge impact? Affirmations help to focus your thoughts and energy on what you want to achieve, rather than what you're afraid of or worried about. When used regularly, they can help you to overcome self-doubt and negative thinking, and start living the life you want to live. So if you're looking for a way to change your life for the better, try using affirmations! How to do affirmations Affirmations are short, positive statements about what you want. They're typically phrased in the first person, present tense. For example, instead of saying 'I'm never going to get better', an affirmation might be 'My arthritis is improving every day'. Here are some examples of positive affirmations you can use .

  2. You have the power to decide how you think and feel - so keep your thoughts focused on things that make you happy! When you're using affirmations, it's important to really believe them yourself - otherwise they won't work! It's also important not to expect instant results - many people see their lives change for the better after a few months of regularly using affirmations. We're surrounded by messages everyday telling us what we can't do. Personal development is all about changing the way you see yourself, to help you become a better, happier and more confident person. Affirmations can help you keep these negative messages in check! Using affirmations doesn't just have benefits for your self-esteem - they can also be used to improve health conditions such as arthritis . Try making an affirmation about your arthritis every day, such as 'My joints are flexible and my muscles strong'. You could also try using positive thinking and affirmations when dealing with irritable bowel syndrome , or any other condition that affects how you feel on a daily basis. How often should I use affirmations? It's important to remember that this isn't a quick fix - if your affirmations aren't working for you, it's probably because you haven't yet made them believable enough. The best way to make an affirmation believable is to spend some time each day visualising what life will be like once your affirmation has come true. For example, if one of your goals is to 'live independently', then start imagining how that will feel. What changes will need to happen? How will people react? You can also focus on little successes every day which lead up to the big goal - this means that each small step along the way feels great too! How have affirmations changed my life? They've helped me improve my mental health by giving me something positive I can do every day! Since I started doing daily affirmations, I've found that I'm more patient with myself - which has helped me become calmer and feel less stressed. It's also made me really happy because the affirmations are about things that matter to me.

  3. Negative thoughts can make your life harder than it needs to be. By using positive thinking and affirmations, you'll start to believe in yourself again - giving you the confidence you need to move forward. So if you're struggling with negative thinking, try using some simple affirmations every day . The best way to do this is to come up with your own statements - write them down on post-it notes or use a word document so you can re-read them everyday. Keep your affirmations with you wherever you go, so they're always on hand whenever you need them. I've had some really positive feedback from people who have used these affirmations - I'd love to hear your thoughts too!
