  2. How To Make Meatless Ramen Noodle Soup No matter how many times you have heard about Meatless Ramen, you may still not be clear on which type of dish it really is. Meatless, or so-called "vegetarian" noodles, actually contain traces of meat - sometimes up to 25% of the total noodle weight! So, how is this possible? Let's take a look at the ingredients. The main ingredient in most vegetarian amends is his or vegan stock. This stock is a fermented soy-based product that is used to provide seasonings and other flavour elements to vegetarian dishes. Soy products are widely recognised as safe for consumption, but the problem lies with the "free-range" status of factory farms, which process cattle for their meat. When the product reaches its packaging, it contains at least some cattle byproducts. The "meatless broth" typically contains one percent or less of these byproducts.Do you want to learn more? 3. Other key ingredients in vegetarian ramen dishes include soybean oil, carrots, garlic, ginger, and corn. Many people believe that these components make for a tastier dish, but the truth is that they simply help to make the dish more nutritionally balanced - something that's been lost with modern mass-farming of animals. Although the addition of meat and other animal-derived ingredients does increase the nutritional value of vegetarian amends, it is important to remember that you are still eating a vegan meal, and that the lack of animal protein is not a deal-breaker.To make your vegetarian ramen noodles feel like their real food, simply add a splash of veggie stock to the bowl and mix gently. To make things interesting, you could also opt for a massage or tabasco to flavour your vegetarian ramen noodles. If you wish to avoid the stock, or try egg substitutes, there are plenty of alternatives for vegetarians that will still taste great. One example is to buy vegan stock instead of using ground meat or chicken stock. Another is to purchase a vegan hotpot that cooks the soup to boil. This way the stock adds in extra flavor and moistens the soup, allowing it to have a much richer taste than regular stock.Do you want to learn more? Visit Vegetarian Ramen.

  4. The standard Japanese version of ramen noodle soup incorporates a mix of vegetables, meat and green onions. While this is fine if you like your dishes a little spicy (it just so happens that I do! ), it can be altered to be a healthier option by swapping out the beef broth for soy or other protein-based broth. Alternatively, you could also choose to use coconut milk instead of using water to cook the broth. If you do this, you should also use low-fat or skim milk. The standard miso ramen recipe uses a mix of short-grained buckwheat, nutritional yeast, nutritional grade fish or soy sauce, mirin, carrots and cabbage. I like to use carrots because of their softness, yet their vibrant green color adds a nice pop of color to the dish. A combination of these ingredients works very well for me, too. You can add in your own creative twists, such as incorporating his or tofu into your mix, using brown rice or quinoa instead of whole wheat pasta, adding scallions, dried garlic, dried oregano, or any number of other interesting items. For vegetarian options, you could also just use vegetarian mung beans in the same way that you do with the barley.Do you want to learn more? Visit Gluten Free Noodle.
