Most herbs are cultivated at our own farms or through community based cultivation project Tulsi (Ocimum tenuiflorum) Tulasi is used for antioxidant, anti-bacterial, anti-viral, adaptogenic and immune enhancing properties Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) Ashwagandha has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, or hormone-stabilizing properties

6. Air Handling Unit – 1) Provide filtered air to the manufacturing unit. 2) Maintaining the temperature at comfort level. 3) Adequate measure taken with respect to walls, ceiling, drains, air intake and exhausts and associated pipe works and ducting, lighting and ventilation.

7. Water Treatment Plant Regular monitoring of chemical and microbiological quality of water used in production.

8. Precautionary measures taken to avoid the problem of cross contamination in all stages of processing. Use of approved starting materials, carrying out manufacturing procedures as per SOP’s, with required, record of in process controls.

9. Maintaining sanitation and Hygiene covering personnel, premises, equipment, production materials and containers is practiced. Manufacturing equipments are of nonreactive material and designed to suit the product manufacturing.

10. Stores and Quarantine Separate stores with sufficient capacity for cosmetic and ayurvedic raw materials & finished goods. Clean, dry & well maintained storage area with provision of special storage conditions wherever required. Separate receiving & dispatch areas. Demarcated storage areas for quarantine products. Provision of sampling area for starting materials to avoid cross contamination.
