  1. Discovering the Beauty of the Golden Temple The Golden Temple is one of the amazing and best place to worship. The Golden Temple, also known as Sri Harmandir Sahib, is a prominent place of worship for Sikhs and an architectural wonder of North India.This temple is the most holiest and significant place for all the followers of Sikhism.   2. History of the Golden Temple The history of the Golden Temple is ver famous. The Golden Temple is on the top list to visit if u are visiting Punjab. The temple was established in 1574 by Guru Ram Das, the fourteenth Guru of the Sikhs. Another truth about this Gurudwara is that this Gurudwara has been built to strengthen the unity between all people and religions. Guru Nanak's Visit The Mughal Connection Recent History The first version of the temple was built under the guidance of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the founder of Sikhism. In 1984, the temple complex was the site of a major military operation conducted by the Indian Army, leading to much controversy. The temple was repeatedly destroyed and rebuilt by Mughal Emperors before taking shape in its current form in the 19th century. There is a committee that is responsible for the management of the Golden Temple. The committee name is Shiromani Gurudwara Parbandhak Committee (Supreme Committee of Temple Management).
