  1. BCCI: The Powerhouse of World Cricket The BCCI is the on of the top and the richest board. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is the richest and most influential cricket board in the world. Let's take a closer look at what makes BCCI so special. by Rachit

  2. History of BCCI The BCCI is among one of the powerful cricket nations among the other cricket nations. BCCI has 27 state association members and 3 non-playing members from all 5 cricket zones in India. These 5 cricket zones are: • North Zone • South Zone • East Zone • West Zone • Central Zone 1 2 3 1928 1983 Present BCCI was founded as the Board of Control for Cricket in India and Burma, with the first Test match played in 1932. India won its first World Cup under BCCI's leadership, shifting the attention of the cricketing world to India. With its fame and riches, BCCI has become the most powerful cricket board, exerting a huge influence over the cricketing world.

  3. Organizational Structure of BCCI The Organization structure of BCCI is very powerful. The BCCI is currently valued at about Rs. 3,000 crores, and its agreement with the ICC, the international cricket governing body, only increases its wealth. According to the existing revenue-sharing arrangement, BCCI receives around 3-4% of the surplus that ICC makes. It has the authority to select players, umpires and officials to participate in international events. 1 Cricket Development in India BCCI has played a crucial role in promoting and developing cricket in India, which has led to India becoming a major player in world cricket. 2 Anti-Corruption BCCI has taken measures to root out corruption in cricket and has set up the Anti-Corruption Unit (ACU) in 2000, which has been highly effective in catching corrupt players and bookies. 3 Player Welfare BCCI is responsible for taking care of the welfare of the Indian cricket team, ensuring proper training, and safeguarding their health and well-being.
