  4. Solution to error Click Windows Start, and in the Search field, enter User Accounts. Press Enter. Select Change User Account Control settings. Click to clear the Use User Account Control preference. (In Windows 7, slide the bar to the bottom of the window toward Never Notify.)Click OK and restart if prompted. Reconnect POS and QuickBooks Desktop.
