  2. EL CHAKU DE VICUÑA El chaku de vicuña es una práctica ancestral que consiste en el encierro, captura , esquila y posterior liberación de vicuñas. Esta práctica se hace en forma conjunta.

  3. EL CHAKU DE VICUÑA En tiempos pasados, la vicuña, animal silvestre, fue fundamental para que los pueblos indígenas pudiesen sobrevivir en la Puna. Su carne era utilizada para el consumo y su fibra para la confección de tejidos e hilados.

  4. EL CHAKU DE VICUÑA Actualmente, esta costumbre continua: un grupo de personas rodea a las vicuñas, formando un << condón humano>> para arrearlas hacia corrales. Cada integrante debe estar atento porque si <<rompen el cordón>>, algunas vicuñas podrían escapar y el trabajo se echaría a perder.
