A person can perform this puja himself, or parents can perform this puja (in case the affected person is too young). Take a holy dip bath in the sacred pond Kushavarta for purification and observe a fast. Relatives who want to participate in the pooja should take a bath before this pooja. Devotees need to wear new clothes. Men have to wear new Dhoti, and women wear a new saree. Pregnant women should not take part in this pooja. Firstly worship Lord Ganesh as before starting any occasion or ritual; Lord Ganesha is firstly worshipped. Put Ganpati, one silver murti of Rahu, one silver murti of Kaal, 1 Gold Naag, Matruka Pujan, and worship it. After that, we have to worship Navgraha. With Kala Tila and Ghee do the havan and worship the Shivaji on the Kalash. Lastly, we have to do Rudrabhishek to complete this Puja.
