Alternatively, a three-year Diploma in an Engineering branch from an AICTE-approved polytechnic, affiliated with a recognized examining body, is accepted with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. Admission is primarily based on the merit achieved in the Common Entrance Test (CET). Should there be vacant seats after exhausting the CET merit list, these will be filled through the merit list of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). The form is also available for download from the MERI website. If you choose this option, submit the downloaded form along with a Demand Draft of Rs. 1000/-. Please note that prospectus and application fees are non- refundable under any circumstances. It is essential to clearly mention the name and code of the chosen program on both the envelope containing the demand draft and the one enclosing the application form to make sure it's smooth and accurate processing.
