  1. How do we select the right ERP solution for our businesses? Choosing an ERP is one of the major decisions for any organiza?on as it affects a significant part. The selec?on process is ?me-consuming, involving market research, Product Evalua?on, implementa?on Partner Selec?on, ERP Implementa?on Project, and Support to users of the manufacturing module in ERP . Ini?ally, the implementa?on of ERP involves senior people responsible for establishing systems for the Organiza?on. For any organiza?on, before reaching the stage of decision for the ERP selec?on, one central stage should be to iden?fy their objec?ves for the ERP implementa?on. These objec?ves can act as a beacon for staying on course during confusing stages of the long journey ahead. Typically Organiza?ons choose ERP by invi?ng mul?ple vendors who pitch their products by highligh?ng the u?lity of their proposed ERP product in the context of the Organiza?on. Many Organiza?ons do reference checks and/or visit the exis?ng customers to get the feel of the product in actual usage, its implementa?on experiences, and customer sa?sfac?on against the objec?ves of the improvement achieved. Based on the selec?on criteria iden?fied, priori?zed, and weightage given, for example, Technology Aspects, Commercial Aspects, Experience of others and required Skills of end-users, etc., each Organiza?on chooses the most relevant, economical, easy to implementable ERP system integra?on for their Organisa?on.
