It is also called high shear mixture. These rapid granulating machines are used for the production of drugs that have strong dosage. These machines are also used for wet granulation that can be done using blender granulator. Rapid mixers consist of impellers and choppers. Impellers and choppers are the two main parts of the rapid mixer machine. They are responsible for breaking the wet material into small pieces and granules. Choppers are located at the bottom of the machine. They are used for sizing the granules. These choppers rotate at extremely high speed. Most of the parts that are associated with rapid mixer granulator are made up of stainless steel. These mixers are very good at blending and granulation that too at a lower expense. The working efficiency of the machine is very high. The high shear mixture is responsible for dry blending and wet grinding that takes place with the help of impeller arm. The blending takes place in cycles inside the blending drum which is periodically adjusted using the base plate.

3. First of all, primary granulation process is performed by blending the dry material at high impeller and chopper speeds. After that, powder is poured into the material being granulated and the material is expanded into a fluidized state. During this time, the impellers and choppers move at lower speeds. The rapid mixer granulator machine consists of a discharge port. This port is mounted upon the level arch with a vertical opening. Granules or materials to be granulated are fed to the holder using the release port. Also, the machine consists of a pneumatic chamber that is used to pack the air inside the machine.
