  2. A ribbon mixer machine is an advanced machine that consists of a U-shaped horizontal trough and a single or double helical ribbon agitator that rotates in it. It is used to mix and blend dry solids ad powders to produce homogeneous mixtures. It is used to blend materials such as granules, talcum powders, pellets, pastes, fluids and spices. It can be used to mix powder to powder, powder to liquid and pastes and high viscous materials. The ribbon mixer machine is used for a variety of applications. It is used for blending of dry solids, drying of powder materials for wet mixing, mixing drugs, cosmetics and chemicals, dry blending of capsule materials, lubrications of dry granules and pellets, coating solid particles with liquids to produce formulation. In pharmaceutical companies, ribbon machine is used for manufacturing polymer blends, pharmaceutical powders and composite fillers. In food and beverage industries it is used for producing infant food, seasonings, flavorings, dried food products, breakfast cereals, dietary supplements and many more. A ribbon mixer is also used in industries such as animal feeds, pet feeds, bird seeds, cosmetics, abrasives, pesticides, plastic powders, laundry detergents, fertilizers, plastic powders, fire retardants, cleaning compounds and many more.

Mixing vessel is a chamber that has a U-shape structure. It is used for mixing elements and occupies the maximum space in the machine. The top cover is an opening that can be accessed for cleaning and loading the machine.
