Forest Hikes Trek through the lush forests of Kufri, surrounded by 360 degree of mountain views. You could visit the estate’s apple orchards and even pluck apples during the season! If you’re so inclined, you could also hike through a secret trail leading to a potato farm nearby and witness the colourful hues of a setting sun. Such short lovely trails are sure to enchant you as you stroll in the company of furry mountain dogs. Prices start at: LOCATION KNOW-HOW Located at a distance of 56 kms from Kalka Shimla Railway Station and 138 kms from Chandigarh International Airport, the property can be reached by getting a local taxi or bus from the station/airport. It can also be reached via road from Chandigarh, which is at a distance of about 126 kms. Close to the city of Shimla, it is located at a distance of only about 13 kms from the Jakhu Temple and only 4.7 kms from the Himalayan Nature Park, which are few of the main attractions in Kufri. MEET YOUR HOST Your host Jeh is an architect by profession who has set up base in the mountains. Though Delhi is his hometown, he spends most of his time in Himachal. He lives on the property and in his free time, loves to take guests/ travellers on forest bathing tours, trekking trails and some hidden non-touristy viewpoints. HOUSE RULES AND THINGS TO NOTE Please bear in mind that the property is a homestay in a Himachali village. While we aim to give you the most comfortable stay possible, sometimes things here can take a bit longer than they would in a city.
