  1. With an increasing population, the country’s economy is also rising. In that context, sustainability is becoming a major concern. Economic progress is critical, but not worth it when it comes at the cost of environmental damage. As a result, climate change has become the talk of the town and to cope, a number of meetings have been organized, including COP 27 in Glasgow, in order to reverse climate change and reduce CO2 emissions. As a result, every country expects other countries to reduce their carbon emissions first. Developing countries are on an unending path of development that is causing carbon damage, whereas developed countries are reaping enormous benefits from carbon credits for their efforts to reduce carbon emissions.

  2. The continuous debate also highlights the fact that we will never stop communicating until the climate becomes irreversible and creates challenges such as rising sea levels, raging storms, searing heat, ferocious fires, severe drought, and widespread species loss. The effects of climate change are threatening health, communities, the economy, and a sustainable future. Thus, we indeed need to limit carbon pollution and aggressively move away from dirty fossil fuels toward cleaner power. Governments have jointly agreed to decrease global warming over the past few decades. Despite increased diplomacy, the globe may soon face the severe effects of climate change. As a result, in order to overcome the impediments, we must create a worldwide treaty that expressly addresses the change. The deal must require the world’s top carbon emitters, including

  3. China, the United States, Russia, India, and the European Union, to negotiate a mass-reduction accord. We must act now by establishing targets for countries to reduce their carbon emissions. If we don’t accomplish this, we won’t be able to repair the planet’s problems and move it towards sustainability. Furthermore, there is no other way if the solution doesn’t start with the population. Population growth is imposing a burden on natural resources. The effects include groundwater and surface water contamination, air pollution, and global warming. However, it is not only the population that is impacting a sustainable future; rising consumption levels are also causing the damage. What can we do about consumption, as everyone wants a better way of life? The alternatives we can opt for to cut down the concerns are reducing the population to half its level, and sensitizing them by creating awareness about and developing empathy towards the planet. Also, society and community RWAs are taking initiatives to have zero waste. Read more to know Pradip Burman’s views on Climate Change
