  1. Why You Should Use LED Light Bulbs For Your Home? With the invention of Light Emitting Diode (LED) and Compact Fluorescent Light (CFL), everyone has officially entered a new era of home lighting. The two main reasons consumers are starting to pay more attention to what kind of light bulbs they are using are 1) the impact on the environment and 2) the simple desire to reduce overall energy consumption. There are many reasons to choose modern LED bulbs over old incandescent light bulbs, so let's take a look at some of the most important. ●Long life cycle Design Recycle Inc. According to it, LEDs last 41.6 times longer (at 50,000 hours) than traditional incandescent light bulbs (at around 1,200 hours). Although LED bulbs are much more expensive, it still pays to use them in the long run. That's because, while costing 24 times more, an LED light lasts 41.6 times longer, and after doing the math, your long-term light bulb costs will almost halve. ●Energy-efficient money saver Besides saving you money on the purchase, LED lights will also save you money on your electricity bills. Currently, they use only 2-17 watts to light the room at the same level as a 45-watt incandescent light bulb. And, like all other light bulbs, you can choose between different brightness levels when shopping at your local hardware store. ●Durability While incandescent light bulbs as well as CFLs can break very easily, LEDs are surprisingly durable and resistant to external shocks such as "bumping" and "jarring" because they are rigid and do not have filaments. ●There is no heat Again we have to examine LEDs to old-school incandescent mild bulbs due to the fact the distinction right here is striking. In addition to being mercury-free, LEDs also do not emit ultraviolet (UV) light, which typically attracts bugs or other insects. While it may require some upfront investment, saving money in the long run and avoiding significant health risks are definitely strong reasons why LEDs could be the light bulb of the future and why you should consider using them in your home.
