  3. Our mission is to support each other So, who are we and what do we do? Peak Medical manufacture and distribute appliances for stoma and continence care patients. Our owner and Managing Director - Auriol Lawson, started her career as a specialist stoma and urology nurse in the North East of England, before founding Peak Medical in 2001. As an independent manufacturer we have a mission to support each other, both customers and our staff. We believe we are part of your journey as well. For us everything we do is about people. Our clinical experience and knowledge, means we passionately believe our UK Health Care Professionals, Ostomates and Continence Care patients deserve products which allow the best quality of life and ease of use. 3
