How To Get The Amazon Best Seller Badge So you want to be an Amazon best seller? It's not as hard as you might think. In this blog post, we're going to share with you some of our tips and tricks on how to get that coveted Amazon best seller badge. Whether it's through effective marketing or optimizing your product listing, we'll show you what works and what doesn't. So read on and start making your way up the Amazon best seller charts! Don't forget to share this blog if you found it useful! #1. Product Reviews Now, this may seem obvious but the first thing that you have to do is get some product reviews. The number of your reviews can be a huge
factor on whether or not Amazon will even consider promoting your product as a best seller. If they see that there's hardly any activity with your book, then you'll have no chance at all of being featured on their website as a new and upcoming best seller. However, if your book receives some good reviews from trusted sources such as Barnes & Noble , iBooks , Google Play Books , etc… then Amazon is much more likely to spot it and promote it as a best-selling item for a short period of time. #2. Optimize Your Product Listing Now, this is where things get interesting. There are a few hacks that you can use to make your book seem like it's more popular than it really is! Now, these aren't necessarily against Amazon's terms of service but they might be frowned upon by them and they may want to remove your best seller badge if they find out about these tricks (we're not sure though). So please proceed with caution. First thing that you can do is go into the "Product Description" section of your book's detail page on Amazon and change the number of pages in your ebook/paperback/hardcover to whatever amount seems appealing. For example, if you have an ebook with 200 pages, say that it has 400 or 600! If you have a paperback with 256 pages, make sure to announce the fact that it's actually 512 pages. This might seem ridiculous but its impact can be huge! If your ebook looks like it has more content than the books of your competitors then customers are much more likely to buy yours instead. You can also choose to remove parts of your product description/blurb that may deter readers from buying your book.
Things such as bad reviews, price comparisons against other books, etc… The idea is to make people think that there's no competition for your book and that they should definitely buy it if they want to read an awesome story! #3. Ask Your Friends & Family For Reviews Getting book reviews can be hard. Not only do you have to convince people to leave a review for your book, but you have to make sure that it comes from a legitimate source so Amazon doesn't get suspicious. So what if we told you that getting these five star reviews is as easy as asking? Well it definitely can be! You might think that this is pathetic or wrong but it's actually very smart. Have your friends & family buy your book and ask them for a genuine review. Most of the time they will oblige because they are fairly interested in your project anyway! Of course, not everyone will say yes, but why not give it a shot? It's much better than leaving an empty gap where you're supposed to put the review score. #4. Email Your Fellow Authors You can also try to email your fellow authors on Amazon and ask them politely if they could leave you some reviews. This sounds like a good idea but it might not be worth it after all because they may be less inclined to help you out since they are trying to sell their own books! So again, proceed with caution here unless you want to take this route. ecommercesoftwarevendor
