COLLECTOR’S COMPLIANCE TRIANGLE Field of Interest and Theme(s) 1 Details of Collection Knowledge and Interest 2 3 • “Field of Interest & Theme(s)” is defined and described by the Member or Applicant . • “Knowledge and Interest” of the Member or Applicant must be aligned with (1) and (3), and will be evaluated by the Association using the attributes described in the Regulations as a guide. i.e. Historical, Heritage, Scientific, Technological, Cultural , Artistic, Educational, and Other where relevant. • “Details of collection” should illustrate and be aligned with (1) and (2) in terms of current artefacts in the collection and immediate planned additions where relevant. • The ‘Compliance Triangle’ applies to all Categories • Prepared by : Saaaca (Gauteng) September 2004
