1. PARRAMATTA MISSION FUNDRAISE PROGRAM Getting together with your colleagues, family or friends and doing something good for a cause is a great way to help raise money and awareness for our services.

Parramatta Mission WHO WE ARE Parramatta Mission provides meals and assistance to the most vulnerable and disadvantaged in our community to assist them in transforming their lives through our Meals Plus service. These include people who may be experiencing homelessness, at risk of homelessness, facing crisis and people living with mental illness. PAGE 02

The Elevate program aims to empower our guests through the provision of education and training, skill building and opportunities for employment. The Parramatta Community Uniting Church worships God and nurtures a life of committed discipleship in Jesus Christ, seeks abiding connections with local communities, and through prayerful and practical service, expresses Parramatta Mission’s core values of ‘Grace, Inclusion, Dignity, Faith and Hope.’ WHAT WE DO Offering a welcome smile in clean & comfortable surroundings 175 Hotel Westmead is conveniently located within the Westmead Medical Precinct, being a minutes walk from Westmead Hospital, Children’s’ Hospital, Skin Hospital, University Clinics and Westmead Private Hospital. MEALS AND ESSENTIALS Meals Plus is a day centre in the heart Parramatta, providing basic needs and support to people who are homeless or disadvantaged. Meals Plus works to break the cycle of homelessness and poverty by providing solutions for people in need of emergency support and continued support for long-term success. Parramatta Mission is a place of inclusion, where all are welcome, to seek assistance or simply enjoy the company of others.

INDIVIDUAL VOLUNTEERING At Parramatta Mission, we are deeply grateful for all volunteers, whose kindness and commitment have made possible our goal to visit Grace upon our community through our services. For that reason, we want to provide a positive experience to all volunteers who put up their hands and choose to work with us. PARRAMATTA MISSION OUR PROGRAMS SCHOOL PROGRAM Parramatta Mission currently runs a range of programs that address critical needs within the communities we serve. Each of these programs is designed to be scalable and replicable. Our School Education Program provides an exclusive opportunity for students to gain a deeper understanding into one of the most vital services at Parramatta Mission, Meals Plus. This will help students gain insight into issues facing people living in Greater Western Sydney and the way in which Parramatta Mission provides essential support within the community. PAGE 07

CORPORATES AND GROUPS Sponsoring or “hosting” a lunch for over 150 clients at our Meals Plus service is an ideal opportunity for a group of up to 10 people to give back to the community in a meaningful and practical way, the half day event can be integrated into any corporate or group volunteering program. Each of these programs is designed to be scalable and replicable. Getting together with your colleagues, family or friends and doing something good for a cause is a great way to help raise money and awareness for our services. Regular Giving Your regular gift helps to create real and lasting change, as well as allowing us to plan for a sustainable future for the Mission. 3. Join the 300 We are seeking 300 compassionate individuals to become regular donors of $30 a month to form the “Army of 300” – with the purpose of securing the funding to cover the cost of meals for a 12 month period.
