  1. Radiology's Role in Diagnosing and Treating Medical Conditions: Radiology, also referred to as diagnostic imaging, is a series of distinct tests that capture images or pictures of various body parts. In certain of these tests, doctors can inspect and scan the insides of the patient's body. Doctors also conduct a sequence of impertinent exams such as CT scans, X-rays, Ultrasound, MRI and PET scans. Radiologist also requires additional exams such as bone mineral densitometry, fluoroscopy and mammography. TYPES OF RADIOLOGY IN DIAGNOSTICS: Critical diagnosis of several distinct diseases, especially cancer, early diagnosis and testing are critical to helping patients. Since its inception in 1985, radiology has become integrated within every medical facility. The most commonly used types of radiology used within diagnostic imaging are: 1. MRI SCANS - This imaging technique incorporates magnets instead of radiation to create images of the inner body. Performed using 4 separate machines, namely accurate open, closed, 3T and wide bore. Used mainly for a detailed look at the body, MRI scans are used to inspect the following: a. Spinal cord and brain problems b. Cysts and tumors c. Joint injuries d. Abdominal and liver irregularities 2. MRA SCANS- MRA (magnetic resonance angiogram) is an exam that divulges detailed images of the internal blood vessels—using magnets and radio wave energy pulses for imaging. They can generate clear images that propel efficient diagnosis and enhanced treatment. 3. CT SCANS- CT scans are a series of X-rays derived from various perspectives. Using computer software to generate a model of the body's arteries and veins, CT scans can be more informational than generic X-rays. CT scans also require lesser dosages of radiation.

  2. Due to the lack of dangerous radiation, CT scans are recommended by doctors at the first sign of pain and nausea. 4. ULTRASOUND- ultrasounds, often referred to as sonography imaging, is a medical technique that uses high-frequency waves to produce images. This imaging technique is used frequently for pregnancies, showing internal organ structure and analyzing the flow of blood vessels due to its lack of dangerous radiation. 5. X–rays- the most common and often used imaging test. X-rays are quick and efficient compared to the other techniques above. Using its high-energy beam properties, radiologists apply this technique to diagnose various problems. The X-ray is also incorporated into mammography to diagnose breast irregularities, unknown lumps or early signs of breast cancer. INTERVENTIONAL RADIOLOGY IMAGING AT PARK HOSPITAL: Beyond performing basic diagnostics, interventional radiology is a subspecialty of radiology. Before typing out Best Interventional Radiologist near me, you need to understand what it does. Interventional radiology uses minimally invasive image-guided procedures for the diagnosis and treatment of disease in various organ systems. One of the best Interventional radiologists in India ispark hospitals. Established in 1982 to provide the best healthcare services to every one of its patients, its interventional radiologists are trained in both imaging and interventional techniques. The various benefits of interventional radiology fromPark Hospitals are: 1. Accurate diagnosis backed by diverse medical experience 2. Quicker recoveries and treatment due to less invasive procedure 3. Safe and convenient for operating on a variety of medical conditions. Park Hospital interventional radiologists have access to the best resources and knowledge, leading to the most efficient treatment you could expect.
