    Your teacher has asked you to write a composition about the beach. Before you begin to write think about a beach you have either visited or a beach you may have seen in pictures or on TV. What are some sounds, sights, smells, tastes, and feelings a person may experience at the beach? Do you have any special memories made at a beach on vacation? What are some of your favorite activities experienced at the beach? Now write a story about the beach. Your composition should have at least one to two paragraphs. Give details and enough information so your teacher will understand what happened. Be sure to write clearly. Check your writing for correct spelling, punctuation, and grammar. 2nd Grade
