PAKISTAN'S FOREIGN MINISTER BILAWAL Pakistan's Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto- Zardari stated in an interview with Reuters on Sunday that the country needs financial help to deal with the overwhelming floods. He further added that I had not seen the destruction of this scale, and I find it very difficult to put it into words. Many crops that provided much of the population's livelihoods had been wiped out. This will have an effect on the overall economic situation. 3

  4. INFECTED BY FLOOD Pakistan has already sustained damages of $5.5 billion due to flash floods and overflowing rivers. Sugarcane and cotton harvests in the provinces of Sindh and Punjab have been completely destroyed, although onion, tomato, and Kharif chili crops have only suffered minor damage. An estimated $2.6 billion has been made for the loss of cotton harvests alone. 3
