1. NEET 2019 Exam Pattern This time there is a change in regulatory body for National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test NEET (UG) – 2019. Instead of CBSE this time National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct NEET (UG) – 2019. National Testing Agency (NTA) is an independent, autonomous and self-sustained premier organization under the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. The Central Government has established the National Testing Agency to conduct entrance examination for admission/ fellowship in higher educational institutions. NEET (UG) is conducted once in a year and this time it will be held on 5th May, 2019 (Sunday) from 02:00 p.m. to 05:00 p.m. Submission of application for NEET (UG) – 2019 is already started from 1st November 2018. Exam Pattern of NEET (UG) 2019 Subject Number of Questions Marks Physics Chemistry Biology (Botany & Zoology) Total 45 45 90 180 180 180 360 720 All Questions will be objective type i.e. multiple choice questions Each question will have four options with single correct answer Question to be answered on the specially designed machine-gradable sheet using Ball Point Pen provided at examination centre only. Each question carries 4 marks. For each correct response the candidate will get 4 marks. One mark will be deducted for the total score for each incorrect response.
