  1. What To Expect In An Online Courses: Things You May Not Have Read Introduction: Congratulations if you have decided to take up online learning. It is a rewarding platform for learning. That said, you should know that it’s not always easy. Often students enrolled in online courses don’t realize what they have got themselves into. You’ll have to commit at least 2 to 3 hours every day to complete all assignments and stay on track. Here’s what to expect if you have signed up for an online course: Online Learning Isn’t Self Learning It is true that unlike in a conventional classroom, it is the student who sets the pace for the course. That said, the professor still arranges the curriciulum to be difficult, just like in a traditional class. You will have to abide by the professor’s rules in order to pass the class. Online Learning Is Not Easy: Online classes are not that easy. You will have to dedicate 10-12 hours every week for the course. There’s a lot of research to be done, too. Instructors expect students to formulate an opinion on the topics they’re covering, and come up with unique ideas. If you are a newcomer to the online platform and struggling with assignments, we suggest that you hire a tutor for online class help. Devil Lies In The Details: Online courses are instruction based – there are clear instructions on how to listen to the video lecture, how to submit assignments, etc. Make sure you read every message from the college and instructor. For example, if the instructor has requested you to limit your discussion board comments to a particular word count, stick to it. Remember to read the grading criteria, the comments that the instructor has left on the graded work, etc. Instructor emails can sometimes be boring, but they are important if you want to succeed. Time is Crucial: It is true that online learning is flexible and you can submit assignments at any time you want as long as its before the given deadline. But you should not get careless and wait too long. That will lead to you skipping the assignments altogether. If you are worried about completing assignments on time, we suggest you hire one of our tutors and ask them “Can you take my online class?” Online Discussions Are More Important Than You Think:

  2. Most online colleges expect you to comment at least 2 to 3 times a week. The comments should be meaningful and add to the discussion. Use a formal tone when writing comments and avoid using casual abbreviations used commonly on social media. Online courses are a great way to gain an education if you are on a budget and don’t have the time to attend a class in person. They are rewarding and they can lead to a great career. But definitely be sure to keep in mind the difficult aspects of online learning before you enroll. And if you do enroll and find yourself in trouble, contact us immediately!
