Evaluation facts • You select your class period for observation with your evaluator • Goal is a 3.75 or higher • Pre Conference is 1-2 days before Observation • Feedback is at least 3 days prior to the post conference • 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year teachers must have two evaluations • PGP needs to be uploaded in Career Track by August 31st

Pre Conference 4.0 Overview • Bring a complete lesson plan • Lesson plan template identifies all evaluation areas • One copy for evaluator • Bring a complete Classroom Profile • Identify Sub Groups – (example: low, medium, high) • One copy for evaluator • Bring a copy of your Plan For Success • Bring a copy of your seating chart • Review the Pre-Conference Guiding Questions

Pre Conference 4.0 • PLANNING FOR LEARNER AND LEARNING (pg. 2)This is the only element scored at the pre-conference. • Accommodations and modifications (in the lesson plan) • Varied Instructional tasks (minimum of 2) (in the lesson plan) • Rules and Procedures (Plan For Success and Class Profile) • Resources and Materials (in the lesson plan)

OBSERVATION 4.0 overview • Have all materials needed for lesson ready and reachable • Plan activity that involves collaboration • Co-laboring to create or learn something new • Needs to relate to your objective • Pairs work really well for % of students engaged • Differentiating for sub groups should be observable • Plan transitions so class time is optimized • Some parts of your lesson may be shifted to the next day • Students should make real world application and interdisciplinary connections with what they are learning • Students making the connection; not the teacher
