    9. Hildegarda de Bigen (1098-1179) Conhecida como terapeuta e visionária. Vasta obra de ciência natural sobre biologia e botânica, astronomia e medicina. Fundou um monastério em 1165, seus escritos místicos e teológicos filosóficos são de inspiração platônica.

    10. Eloísa de Paráclito (1101-1164) Francesa, foi abadessa do convento de Paráclito, uma comunidade monástica fundada pelo filósofo Pedro Abelardo, seu professor e amante. A longa correspondência dos dois documenta a paixão e o debate que nutriam ao longo da vida (Correspondências ou Epístolas). Também escreveu um texto chamado “Problemata”
