  3. The LENA Program was inspired to assist children in developing their language skills regardless of any obstacles they might face. LENA strives to help less fortunate children compete with their peers and increase their chances of attending college and obtaining higher-paying jobs.

  4. WHY DOES EARLY LANGUAGE HELP? The early-year-olds' existence is vital for developing their language. The study found that the children, who spoke better and earlier, achieved higher scores on language tests. They also tended to learn more words, understood longer sentences and used less repetition of words and improved their language skills faster.

It is founded on the notion that children's development in language is heavily dependent on the environments in which they spend the majority of their time.
