13. Our apartment is bright and spacious. There are three bedrooms. It also has a modern kitchen and a nice dining area. There is also a large living room. The living room has large sliding doors that open to the balcony. From the balcony, there is a wonderful view across the city and down to the ocean. My name is Tyler. I live with my family in a neighbourhood near the center of town. We live in a tall modern apartment building. Our apartment is on the 23rd floor of the building. When you enter the apartment building, there is a large entrance. On the ground floor, you take the elevator to reach our apartment.

14. My parents like modern furniture. My mother is a painter so we have a lot of art on the walls. Most of the walls are white because my parents don’t really like dark colors. There are two washrooms in the apartment. A small washroom is attached to my parents’ bedroom and the other is for me, my sisters and any guests. The laundry is quite small. Next to my bedroom is a spare room. When my grandparents come to stay with us, they sleep in this room.

15. I like our apartment. It is close to my school and my dad can walk to work. There are many shops and a large supermarket nearby but my mom’s office is far. She has to drive to work. It gets very hot in summer so we have air- conditioning in the house. We don’t have central heating because winter is very short here. There is a large communal garden at the back of the apartment building, and we have two car spaces in the underground car park. to be continued…
