Field goal: A field goal is when a player kicks the ball through the uprights of the opponent's goal post, worth three points. 4. Interception: An interception is when a player catches a pass and then runs it back to the other team's end zone, worth six points.
5. Tackling: Tackling is when a player tries to bring down an opposing player with their hands or arms, while keeping their feet on the ground. 6. Touchback: A touchback is when a player on the kicking team catches a kickoff in their own end zone and then runs it back out to the other team's end zone. 7. Pass interference: Pass interference is when a player on the defending team touches a player on the opposing team who has the ball before the ball is touched by anyone else. 8. Offside: Offside is when a player from the kicking team enters the other team's end zone before the ball is kicked.
