  1. An Ayurvedic approach to health The concept of good health in Ayurveda has many facets. It is a philosophical and ancient branch of science. According to Ayurveda, a person's overall health and wellness are the result of all of their physical and mental activities. It focuses on how a person's body affects their physical and mental perception. The delicate balance between the mind, body, and spirit is a key component of ayurvedic wellness. The secret to good health is our capacity to keep this balance. A balanced relationship between all of these elements, both living and nonliving, as well as ourselves and the environment, is what fosters good health. Wellness and nutrition with Ayurveda promotes specific lifestyle modifications and natural therapies to achieve that balance between the body, mind, soul, and environment. It holds that harmony between the mind, body, and soul is necessary for health and wellbeing. Every element of the universe, whether it be alive or not, is said to be interconnected. A person will be in good health if their mind, body, and spirit are in harmony with the universe. They become ill when something upsets this balance. Digging deeper Ayurveda’s main objective is to advance health. Instead of focusing on the "cure," it emphasises "prevention." Therefore, prevention is always preferable to cure. Every patient will have a unique treatment plan developed by an Ayurvedic physician. When preparing the individual report, they will take into account the distinct physical and emotional makeup. Treatment aims to purge the body and mind and help one to stay healthy. According to the Ayurvedic philosophy, each of us is born with one of three biological energies (types) coursing through us. Knowing our dosha allows us to plan a diet and lifestyle that will support it and help us maintain good health. They will also make dietary recommendations and prescribe some herbal remedies. According to the ayurvedic philosophy, you can treat illnesses with yoga, meditation, or counselling. Yoga is a crucial component of Ayurveda. In order to get a comprehensive picture, Ayurvedic physicians will also consider the fitness, mental health, body functions, diet, personal history, and environmental factors as part of their holistic approach to wellness. They can use this information to determine how one can best promote their own health. Incorporating wellness and nutrition with Ayurveda in everyday life is not a difficult task.

  2. According to Ayurveda, every root is a medicine, so there is no such thing as bad or good food. It also offers a logical method for creating balanced meals for optimal nutrition by creating food groups that are harmonious, encourage proper digestion, and maximise nutrient absorption. Food that is similar to one's dosa will make the dosa worse. To balance the dosa, one must therefore choose the appropriate food group. According to Ayurveda, the plants and plant-based foods that make up our diet have a significant impact on both a person's physical and mental health. It is advised to eat homemade, freshly prepared food for proper nutritional absorption. Spices are used to mellow the negative effects of the food and make it more palatable. Warm food is advised because it stimulates the agni and digestive enzymes. Furthermore, it is also advised against eating when one is experiencing strong emotions like stress, anger, or grief, among others, as these things can cause abnormal digestion and have a negative effect on the mind, which is the seat of all sensory perception and control.
