Telugu Desam Leader Chandrababu Naidu Honors Founder NTR in Public Meeting The recent large public meeting of Telugu Desam Party leader Nara Chandrababu Naidu in Khammam, Telangana showcased a change in his style of speech and also paid tribute to the party's founder, NT Rama Rao. Instead of standing in one place and addressing the crowd, He moved around the dais while highlighting his Achievements of TDP during his tenure as Chief Minister of undivided Andhra Pradesh. He gave a detailed presentation to make the current generation aware of his contributions. During his speech, N. Chandrababu Naidu gave special respect to NTR, the party's founder, and asked the TDP leaders to set up NTR statues in every village as a way of honoring him. He spoke about NTR's contributions to the Telugu people and how he introduced a food security policy by distributing rice at Rs 2 per kilo, which later became a policy of the state and central governments. NTR's other contributions included abolishing the Patel and Patwari system, giving a political role to backward classes by making them legislators, and introducing the Mandal system, residential schools, and single window mode for investments. The public meeting energized the Telugu Desam rank and file, with party workers from various districts attending the event. TDP leaders and activists welcomed N. Chandrababu Naidu at Nayakangudem and took out a vehicle rally with his control of Khammam. He led the rally from Mayuri Centre to Sardar Patel stadium in an open jeep. Party workers from faraway Jaggaiahpet, Nandigama, and Tiruvuru assembly segments in Andhra Pradesh also attended the meeting. TDP MLAs and MPs who spoke before N. Chandrababu Naidu was critical of the BRS government, with TDP politburo member Ravula Chandrasekhar stating that the government failed to fulfill the aspirations of the Telangana people during its eight years of rule.
