1. 18.01.20 After our conversation with Luke we made few conclusions on our opening sequence: We abandon the idea of ​​the seven deadly sins, because this idea is widespread throughout the world and there is already a successful film with a similar storyline (7 (1995)). Instead of murders based on 7 deadly sins, the killer involves (as yet unknown number of people) in a "game", the main idea of ​​which will be to kill them all in special ways. We want to keep a connection with the religious theme in our storyline, so we'll do some research and find Bible chapters that could be related to quests in the killer’s game. People won’t know about their participation in the game until they know about the first quest / murder (not yet decided). We also should change the place where the events took place because the location we choose doesn’t look like American landscape and it looks far-fetched. However, we still can use the same location but to change the storyline and make it suitable for England, or we need to find another place that is available to us. Scenes worth preserving: car driving through the forest; basement is a good place for this opening scene.
