  1. What You Need To Know About Fertilizer Coating Material Testing https://naqglobal.wixsite.com/chemical-fertilizer/post/know-about-fertilizer-coating-material-testing Bio link

  2. The exponential growth of the global population has urged the agriculture sector to increase crops' production and augment the food supply, consequently impacting food production costs. Simultaneously, inefficient uses of fertilizer products have also affected myriad environmental issues with devastating effects on groundwater and ecology, persuading an urgent call for implementing more efficient fertilizer uses.

  3. Along with new growing crop nutrition methodologies, these factors push the speciality fertilizer market to produce more innovative and efficient products with minimal environmental damage. The coating is an approach that can make speciality products and enhance the quality of the existing product. There are various coating materials applied to fertilizer particles to control solubility in soil. Usually, the materials are used for granular or prilled nitrogen fertilizer.

  4. Fertilizer coating materials include the highest N or prilled Nitrogen, the base material for most coated fertilizers. Elemental sulphur was used for fertilizer coating previously, spraying molten sulphur over the urea granules. Beyond these, other coated fertilizers materials are formulated by reacting various resin-based polymers on the surface of fertilizer granules. Anti dusting agents are used to produce dust-free fertilizers that will provide consistent and predictable application results.

  5. How to choose the right Deformer, and which is the proper method to test? There are an array of considerations in the choice of defoamer. It depends upon the type of product, requirement of industries, shell life, methods and much more.

  6. There are two types of laboratory methods used that are relevant to release time. The standard practice incubates common release fertilizer for specific nutrient release time until a threshold amount of nutrients is released. The other is an accelerated method that sets CRF for a shorter time at a particular higher temperature.

  7. The temperature-controlled incubation method or the standard procedure- • TCIM method involves incubating a beaker that contains CRF and water at a consistent temperature of 77 degrees F.

  8. Accelerated incubation method • The accelerated method uses four samples placed in hollow glass tubes wrapped by a water jacket where pieces are placed in the water, and water controls the temperature. The temperature is increased from about 77 to 140 degree F over time to release the curve. Ether water of dilute citric acid is used as the extracting solution.

  9. Another method is observed using five separate funnels to incubate resin-coated CRF at a temperature of 122 to 194 degree F and divulged that 176 was the right temperature partially due to reduced coating integrity of 194 degree F. The accelerated lab test method's primary benefit is it reduces time and cost compared to standard approaches. These are lab tested methods for achieving the best testing results.

  10. Some other methods to assess defoaming efficiency test are • Foam height method:A certain amount of pain is used with the marking line, and there air introduced in the coating system with the help of a micro air compressor to observe foam's height.

  11. Specific gravity method: Fertilizer coating material suppliers use high agitated paint inserted into a density cup and then measure paint density. The colour is sealed and stored and later measure after a certain period to notice the density changes. • Spray coating method: Anti dust Agent Suppliers use defoamer for paint that is stirred at higher speed and poured immediately on polyester film in which the frame is placed at an angle of 25 degrees. The surface state of the dry film is observed.

  12. There are many extensive testing methods to know the efficiency of anti dust agents, cycling bubble methods, gas drum methods, etc. Source link https://naqglobal.wixsite.com/chemical-fertilizer
