  1. Types of Eco Friendly Ganesh Idols As the hype around Eco Friendly Ganesh Idols keep increasing and as the awareness of the importance of so keeps spreading, a lot of different variations for the Ganesh Idols have come up. These idol ideas are innovative and fresh and very creative. Some examples of types of eco friendly Ganesh Idols are: Clay Ganesh: An idol built with a clay set, the most traditional eco friendly method of making an idol at

  2. home. The immersion of these clay Ganesh idols is suggested to be done in the balcony of one’s house in a large bucket filled with water. Once the idol dissolves, we can pour this water on the plants and give it back to the ecosystem. Chocolate Ganesh: An idol crafted out of chocolate, after puja, this idol is taken for a dip in the milk, which is considered very pious. As the idol gradually dissolves in the milk, one can distribute this chocolate milk as Prasad to the family or even the underprivileged as it is all about bringing in some joy. Fruit Ganesh: This Ganesh idol is the most convenient way to go. Made out of interesting arrangements of fruits of different types, the fruits can be later directly distributed as Prasad. Tree Ganesh: This is a very popular way of celebrating Ganesh pujo with an eco friendly idol. These idols are made out of clay that are imbedded with seeds. Once the idol is immersed into a planter and the clay dissolves, plants start to grow gradually due to the seeds already in the clay. Alum Ganesh: This is the best alternative for someone looking forward to immersing their idol in a large water body. Alum or fitkari or aluminium sulphate purifies the water and is also soluble in it which is why it is definitely one of the best and innovative alternatives for eco friendly idol.
